The light output for the Scangrip headlamp is not bright enought. I thought it wouid be a good idea having it on you forhead so you would not have to constantly stop you process to look at an area to be buffed. But it does not provide enough lumens and when you get in a lower position on a vehicle with it on your forhead it does not work well either. I use the Scangrip hand held unit from now on.

I've seen countless detailers using the Scangrip headlamp for correction and interiors, but never knew what the hype was about. Being a fan of the traditional stand Scangrip lights, I decided to get one for an RV project where height would be an issue. Wow! This light was perfect! The ability to switch it on and off with a wave of the hand is especially useful.
