Rupes LHR21 MARKII Bigfoot Polisher - new and improved with more power

The next generation of Rupes is here – The Rupes Bigfoot LHR21 and LHR15 MarkII Polishers. Built with everything that made the original Rupes LHR 21 & 15 one of the best, the new Rupes MarkII series are going to blow you away. Correct your paint faster and more efficiently than ever before. With improvements made to both the body, chassis, and motor, the Rupes LHR21 Mark II provides 30% more efficiency than the original machines, making correcting your paint smoother than ever before.

The Rupes BigFoot LHR21 MarkII has the same, extra-large 21 millimeter throw as the LHR21, making correcting paint something you’ll want to do for hours. The smooth experience is what you’ve been waiting for. Improvements made to the body of the tool feature a stronger, reinforced housing. We’ve all dropped our machines a time or two (but never on the paint, right!?) and this new housing helps to protect the insides of our new machine.

Also new on the Rupes BigFoot LHR21 MarkII are rubber inserts INSIDE the tool that improve the handling and provide a better level of comfortability while in use. The new rubber tool rest on top of the machine allows you to set the polisher down pad-up and not contaminate either your pad or the paint you’re working on.

Now to the information we’ve been looking for: the new Rupes BigFoot LHR21 Mark11 motor specs. The LHR21 Mark II does feature a higher starting RPM (2500 compared to the original LHR21’s 2000), giving it a little more power and torque to the buffing pad. The 500 watt power draw is the same, but the LHR21 MarkII feels a little more powerful.

If you’ve been looking around and wanting to upgrade your current polisher collection, the new Rupes BigFoot LHR21 Mark II is just what you’ve been waiting for.

Big step up from my other polishers.

After doing my research, reading and watching so many reviews, I decided on the Rupes 21, and purchased the 5" backing plate separately so that I would be able to use both pad sizes. I'm not a pro by any stretch of the imagination, but I definitely notice a difference in the speed and results. I've only done my trunklid and restored two sets of headlights, but it's a huge improvement from my old first-gen griots DA.

AMAZING!!

I am just a prosumer, I do some detailing on the side but it is not what I rely on for income. I bought the Mark II because I felt that my old GG random orbital just wasn't cutting it (pun intended). There are a fleet of trucks that I have been tasked with cleaning at my job and after using the old random orbital it was just taking to long. They are single cab 3500 trucks that were washed with a brush and seemed to have little spots of asphalt all over them. The Rupes seemed to work at 4-5 times faster than the older machine! I love it! I am also amazed at how much smoother the machine operates. It is much easier to use for extended periods of time and the has the least amount of vibration of some other machines I have used. It also runs MUCH more quite! At 6 it is about the same as 3 on other machines in terms of noise. I love the slow start feature and am really impressed with the machine! I have never used the Mark I but this definitely seemed worth every penny!
