A Mr. Collins original, this classic carnauba/polymer blend is also Collinite’s most durable. Holds up month after month against harmful outdoor corrosives; UV, rain, snow, salt, dust, dirt, grime, bugs, staining and more. Ideal as a winter wax when both lasting shine and all-season/all-conditions protection are equally crucial. Handcrafted and handpoured in the USA.

Signature carnauba shine, heavy-duty protection and ultimate durability

  • Collinite’s longest-lasting automotive formulation
  • Award-winner in independent tests for endurance
  • Produces lustrous finish while shielding against outdoor elements
Directions:

Surface should feel lukewarm to the touch. Apply wax in THIN, even coat to a CLEAN section no larger than 2X2 ft at a time with applicator pad. As wax begins to dry/haze, polish off with dry microfiber or soft cotton towel.
Customer Reviews
Very smooth, easy application
This is my first foray into 'nice' waxes since my enthusiastic dive into Turtle Wax and Armour All in high school. It really is an easy-application solution with great results and - from what I'm told - great longevity. I look forward to using the rest of the tin as I learn more.

Another great Collinite product!
I've been a big fan of Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax (No. 845) for my winter wax but a friend referred me to this at Detailer's Domain. If applied too thick you'll need to run through a few more microfiber towels to buff it out. Apply a thin coat in small sections for the best results. So far so good, feels smooth and offers some great beading action.

One of my "go-to" waxes. Love it.
I've been really happy with the 476S. Some people complain that it's too difficult to remove after hazing. The key is to apply it really thin. When applied in thin layers, it buffs off real easy with no effort at all. I like to machine apply two layers. It lasts very very long.

This wax lasts and lasts.
For the price, you can't really beat it. It's old school - a metal can and a lid you have to pry open with a screwdriver. It smells very chemical-ly. It applies by applicator pad easy enough. Removal takes a bit more effort than most waxes, so don't let it sit there for more than 5 minutes. The durability is legendary for a carnauba wax. Economical price and bulletproof duarbility make this a perfect choice for a daily driver stored outside.

Very impressed with this wax
For the price this a a great wax. If you apply a thin layer a panel at a time and remove after short curing time its very easy to use. A tin will certainly last a long time.
